Your Money Matters Guide – High School Edition is a 16-page color booklet that highlights budgeting, saving, college planning, banking and consumer credit in a fun, informative way that’s relevant to high school students.
Use this guide as a stand-alone tool or to enhance existing financial literacy curricula. As an added bonus, we have lesson plans to complement the budgeting, credit, identity theft, saving and banking sections of this guide.
- Self-paced learning moduleshelp users navigate important financial decisions. Each module contains learning objectives, tools, a quiz and a completion certification. PDF versions of the module quizzes and answer keys are available; email OklahomaMoneyMatters@ocap.org to request a copy for your classroom.

- Money Talks podcasts are on-the-go resources. Each session is three to five minutes in length and covers topics like financial aid, identity theft prevention, savvy savings strategies and understanding your credit score.

If you prefer to teach your own financial education lessons, take advantage of our train-the-trainer workshops. Sessions are customized to fit your schedule and your students’ needs. These engaging workshops highlight the nuts and bolts of financial literacy and explore engaging activities that teach.
